Practice Makes Perfect

It’s always a good idea to practice your fly casting skills.  Whether it’s on the water or in your backyard, practice makes perfect.  It’s also smart to have other anglers watch your casting strokes and offer tips and suggestions. You don’t necessarily have to take their advice but, let’s face it, you can’t see yourself casting.  If all else fails, have someone video your casting and critique yourself.  5 or 10 minutes off the stream during your off season will pay big dividends when you get back on the water.
